My pedigree and what drove me to start Globenova.

I was born in the Maritimes (Fredericton, New Brunswick) and was raised in North Central Nigeria. Having returned and worked in the technology space for over a decade, I have gained both perspective and appreciation for the opportunities that exist in the developing and developed markets. I founded Globenova because I wanted to deliver on my passion for global technological inclusion.

I see tremendous value for African countries and its technology ecosystems in developing sustainable growth through partnership with the technology ecosystem in Canada. There are also benefits due to network effects and scale that Canadian technology companies stand to benefit from. We help companies to expand into maturing markets with rapid adoption, the speed of which can often surpass comparables in Canada.

African countries have had the advantage of leapfrogging with certain technologies like mobile payments because of non-existent legacy system and infrastructure. Technological inclusion has jumpstarted economies and put developing countries on a path to sustainable development, in accordance with Sustainable Development Goals #SDG.

The ultimate goal of any technological platform is global adoption, to achieve ubiquity and gain network effects. A systematic approach is required to scale these technologies globally. It is my believe that by harnessing partnerships towards providing access bilaterally, Globenova will deliver value for its members.
